- Prostitution, solicitation and negotiation of compensation for sexual services are illegal in the State of West Virginia and shall not be tolerated. Violations shall result in immediate removal from the facility without refund of fees.
- The house safe word is RED to immediately stop play and the house caution word is YELLOW.
- There is absolutely no penetration allowed during socials and other events sponsored by WHIP. There shall be no penetration in the form of sex. This includes: mouth to genital, genital to genital and dildos (strap on or loose) to genital or anal contact. Mouth gags are permitted, as are wireless eggs, implanted eggs or butt plugs as long as they have been inserted prior to entrance or inserted privately in rest room.
- At least 1 (one) properly identified Dungeon Monitor (DM) shall be present during all play.
- A DM may and will intervene in a scene if s/he hears the word RED and the scene is not interrupted immediately by the participants.
- DMs must be obeyed for your safety, and the safety of all members and attendees. Please notify a DM of any safety, rules, harassment or etiquette infringement problems that come to your attention.
- DMs and Sergeants at Arms reserve the right to declare any toy, implement, object or practice as unsafe, for any reason, and require that it be removed from the facility immediately. Fire play supplies and firearms, loaded or unloaded, are specifically prohibited. Candles for waxing are permitted.
- Safe sex practices are required for all activities. Examples: use a condom or put down a chuck (absorbent pad, available in the dungeon) if you're playing with a male and they leak, use gloves when doing needle play or any other blood play, always clean the piece of equipment that you're on once your scene is over.
- To prevent injury and/or infection, needles will not be opened more than 5 minutes prior to individual use (use of that particular needle). All participants in the scene with the exception of the recipient will wear gloves and closed toe shoes.
- No cameras, video or audio recording devices are allowed at any WHIP social without prior written authorization from the WHIP board. The board reserves the right to record the member meeting for the purpose of taking minutes. These recordings will not be shared with anyone, will be kept strictly confidential and will be destroyed after completion of the minutes. Cell phones are not allowed in the dungeon. Occasionally we do take pictures in the social area. All participants are asked for their permission to be in the picture.
- Cleaning supplies are located throughout the play space. If you do wax, blood or other messy scenes, please use a tarp or drop cloth. Please clean up the equipment after yourselves! Leave all equipment free of sweat, blood, other bodily fluids, wax, toys, etc. Bring body fluid contamination to the attention of a DM. Refer to Rule # 8.
- Normal and proper party etiquette is required. Do not interfere in a scene. Do not touch anyone or anyone's gear without permission. You are not required to say or do anything. Watching is acceptable from a safe distance. Please keep all conversation, laughter and comments to a minimum in the play space. Play fair. Do not monopolize equipment to the extent that others may not have the time to play. Abnormally loud screaming and talking within a scene is discouraged as a courtesy to others. Tops may be asked by the DMs to quiet or gag loud bottoms if there is a complaint made by others. Please try to move aftercare away from the equipment so that the equipment is not tied up during aftercare. There is to be no play behind closed doors.
- No alcohol or any illegal substances of any kind may be brought to a social. Any member or attendee deemed to be under the influence by a DM will be removed!
- Smoking is prohibited in the play space.
- Facility and fire code regulations strictly prohibit all forms of fire play.
- None of WHIP, its board of directors, nor the management, owners or operators of any facility used by WHIP, nor any agent, successors or assigns of any of the foregoing shall be held liable to any attendee for injury to a person incurred as a result of attendance at an event sponsored by WHIP.
- Confidentiality: We are like Las Vegas; what happens/said/seen here, stays here. Let's be grown up about this, some people are still in the closet and don't want others (outside of the group) to know they are involved. Group members are privy to knowledge the general public is not. Keep it that way. This includes all munches, socials, get-togethers, members-list emails and participation in reciprocal group events. What you see or hear at WHIP Socials stays within the doors of WHIP. Do not give out any personal information which includes scene names or real names, email addresses, jobs, phones numbers, etc., to anyone except your own. If we need to take it one step further, don't talk about other people to other people in our or another group. This makes cliques; we don't need or want cliques. WHIP is like a family to the regulars and we want to keep it that way. These confidentiality rules have been added to the dungeon rules simply because attendees, members and non-members are required to sign these rules.
Do not give out specific information about the location or people in attendance. You may discuss generally what happened and the demo information but not the people who attended or the location without the permission of the person you are talking about.
In keeping with the idea that we are all here to have fun, the following rule applies and will be strictly enforced: Anyone found to be in violation of disclosing any confidential information will be notified and required to meet with the WHIP Board to defend himself or herself, member or non-member. If found guilty of disclosing any confidential information the violator will be asked to surrender their membership card to WHIP and asked to leave, and their name will be removed from the WHIP mailing list. This will be for a period determined by the board which may be for a period of 1 year or longer.
- This is a drama-free event. The WHIP Board reserves the right to eject any form of drama from any WHIP event (assuming it isn’t part of a valid scene).
- By signing these rules and your entry into any WHIP social, you acknowledge that you have read these rules, understand them, and will abide by them and that you assume all risks incident to your attendance.
- WHIP sometimes presents demos that violate these rules. The demos are performed by experts and are intended to show those in attendance techniques. Breaking of a rule during a demo does not mean that that rule is no longer in effect.
- Play safe and have fun!
